This dish is Loaded with vegetables π₯ and full of flavor with superfood Coconut Oil πΆ
It is nut free, butter free, soy free, gmo free, made with all organic ingredients, vegan (optional). ππΏ
Prep the Veggies –
- 1 small cauliflower, cut into florets
- 2 medium potatoes, cooked and chopped into cubes π₯
- 1 cup peas, fresh or frozen
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cups of crushed, canned tomatoes π
Step – lightly sautΓ© cauliflower, potatoes, peas and onion in a pan on medium heat, set aside π²
Ingredients for the Tikka Masala –
- 2 cups of crushed, canned tomatoes π
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil
- 2 teaspoons cardamom powder
- 1 teaspoon red paprika (2 teaspoons for a spicier taste) πΆ
- 3 garlic cloves, chopped or 2 teaspoons dry garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons dry ginger powder
- 2 teaspoons turmeric powder
- 1.5 teaspoon dry coriander powder
- 1.5 teaspoon dry cumin powder
- 1.5 cup organic coconut milk or 1 cup fresh sour cream
- 1 tablespoon raw agave
- Salt per taste
- 1/2 cup fresh chopped chives
Steps –
1. Warm coconut oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add crushed tomatoes and stir frequently for about 5 minutes
2. Add turmeric, coriander, cumin, ginger, garlic, cardamom and paprika until they mix well (for about 3 minutes)
3. Add prepped veggies, coconut milk ( or sour cream for a dairy option) and agave syrup, salt.
4. Let the curry simmer, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes.
5. Garnish with chives
Tikka masala π² is ready in less than 20 minutes cook time. π΅ serve with steamy rice π or Indian bread like Chapati, Paratha, Naan π² πΏ

Side dish idea – Picked raw onion
Ingredients – 1. 1 small onion chopped in slices
2. 2 teaspoons Any Pickle from India
Step – mix in the onion slices with the pickle and set aside to marinate for 10 minutes.
